Meet Rachael!
Hi! I’m Rachael, an actress who’s passionate about telling stories—and, let’s be honest, looking silly while pretending to be other people. Whether it’s a dramatic Arthur Miller monologue, a raunchy comedy, or a strange postmodern piece, I’m always looking for new ways to entertain, connect, and make people laugh or cry—sometimes both at the same time.
I’ve been performing since I came out of the womb, a probably offensive Christmas play for my family at the ripe age of 4, a rock band on my front porch, you name it, but I officially got my start in the industry by watching an awful production of Legally Blonde at my high school, it was like a car crash, no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn’t look away. I knew that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Since then, I’ve worked on many different types of shows from many different time periods and have had the privilege of collaborating with some incredible directors, actors, and designers along the way.

My training at Iowa State University gave me a strong foundation in everything from character work to improvisation to… trying not to trip over my own feet on stage. I’m always striving to grow as an actor, whether I’m playing a mother with dead children, (seriously, who decided this was my type cast?) or a goofy role in a musical. My goal is to bring depth and authenticity to every character, while always keeping the audience entertained. (After all, if the audience isn’t having fun, what’s the point?)
When I’m not on set or rehearsing, you can probably find me with my cat Baby, reading, or rewatching Twilight for the millionth time.
Thanks for checking out my site! I’m always on the lookout for exciting new projects, so let’s collaborate and make something unforgettable!
Artist Statement
The first time I stepped into a theater and witnessed Legally Blonde at my small high school, something inside me shifted. That production ignited a spark, and from that moment on, I knew my life’s calling was to perform. The joy of bringing characters to life on stage and connecting with an audience became my greatest passion. Since then, I have dedicated myself to honing my craft, driven by a desire to make people laugh, feel, and think in ways that leave them more fulfilled than when they entered.
As a queer woman in theater, I am deeply committed to ensuring that both LGBTQ+ and female voices are represented authentically and inclusively, not just in the stories we tell, but in the creative spaces where those stories are brought to life. Theater has the power to connect people, and I want to help build a stage where everyone can see themselves reflected.
Whether through comedy, drama, or musical theater, I am passionate about creating work that resonates with audiences, fostering empathy, and sparking meaningful conversation. My ultimate goal is to use the stage as a platform for connection, joy, and representation, helping others feel seen and heard in ways that mirror the fulfillment I find in performing.
